Labor & Birth Doula
A Labor & Birth Doula Massage Therapist is a professional, non-medical labor assistant whose role is to support and comfort the mother and guide and direct family and other support members during birth, act as a liaison between the hospital staff and the birthing family, and provide one to one emotional and physical support to the mother.
Postpartum Doula
A Postpartum Doula Massage Therapist cares for the mother and infant after the birth. She helps the new mother adjust to her new role, helping mother as she recovers from delivery, and guiding and supporting the parents during this transitional phase.
